A helping hand from Humanitarian Action
In today's episode, we speak with Daelit González, Director and member of the Board of Humanitarian Action. Humanitarian Action is a non-profit organization that works to serve populations suffering from humanitarian crises. Their work began in 2016, providing humanitarian aid to vulnerable communities in Venezuela. In 2020, Humanitarian Action internationalized their work and now assists Venezuelans outside of their home country by offering scholarships to learn English as a second language .

Healthcare for Immigrants
In today's episode, we're speaking with Eduardo Reyes, who has a Master of Public Policy with a specialization in health policy. Prior to completing his graduate studies at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, Eduardo pursued dual bachelor's degrees in economics and public health at the University of Maryland, College Park. Eduardo is passionate about analyzing, advocating for, and implementing equitable health policies to improve access to health care services across the community, using the Affordable Care Act as a prime example of this crucial work.
