How to Keep Yourself and All Those You Care About Healthy in a New World | WeCare4®

The podcast with Dr. Russ Jaffe, while recorded by WeCare4®️ in collaboration with the Marketing IMPACT Council™️ back during the peak period of COVID-19 and was particularly relevant at that time, still provides some interesting and valuable perspective and useful advice. Dr. Russell Jaffe received his BS, MD and Ph.D from the Boston University School of Medicine in 1972. He completed residency training in clinical chemistry at the National Institutes of Health (1973 – 1976), remaining on the permanent senior staff until 1979. He is board certified in Clinical Pathology and in Chemical Pathology. He started the Health Studies Collegium, a think tank that focuses on sustainable solutions to global health needs, with his fellow colleagues. For the last 30 years, Dr. Jaffe has advocated a system that treats people not diagnoses, cause not consequence, and promotes long term sustainable solutions as an alternative to a system dominated by prescriptive, symptom suppressive solutions. Dr. Jaffe’s cumulative experiences enabled him to take his efforts one step further and build PERQUE Integrative Health, a company that offers the world scientifically proven, integrative health solutions that speed the transition from sick care to healthful caring. Dr. Jaffe’s practical contributions to clinical medicine and to healthcare policy focus on functional, predictive tests and procedures designed to improve the precision of both diagnosis and of treatment outcomes; he has authored nearly 100 articles on the subject. He is the recipient of many awards among them International Scientist of 2003 by the IBC, Oxford, England; the Merck, Sharp & Dohm Excellence in Research Award; the J.D. Lane Award; and the U.S.P.H.S. Meritorious Service Award. He teaches and lectures widely on nutritional immunology and treatment guidelines for chronic autoimmune and immune dysfunction syndromes and has helped elucidate the causes and consequences of immune defense and repair functions in health and disease. Caring for Multiple Family Members at the Same Time | WeCare4®

My podcast with Phillip Siculietano addresses the journey of caring for more than one aging person at a time. Phillip does a wonderful job providing tips on how to stay organized and sane while juggling schedules, advocating for more than one person, and just basically caring for them. You will learn a lot from Phillip on many levels. Phillip is a member of the WeCare4® advisory board. He cared for his mother and her sister for many years until their recent deaths as well as his two other maternal aunts for whom he continues to provide assistance and care. Phillip is a retired award-winning special education teacher for over 30 years and a former adjunct professor at Kean University. In addition to these positions, he served as Education Association of Nutley, NJ (EAN) (local arm of the NJ Education Association) President for 4 years and then its Recording Secretary; District Coordinator for Montclair State University Network for Educational Renewal; District Chairperson of the Affirmative Action Committee; and Supervisor of Summer Special Education Program. Phillip received a Dodge Grant (through Montclair State University) on “Inclusion Practices and Strategies”; developed and implemented a high school “Life skills” Summer Program; and was a member of the School Superintendent’s Advisory Council. Phillip also won the 2007 NJ Governor’s Teacher Recognition Award and the Nutley (NJ) Jaycees Distinguished Service Award for Education. He holds a BS from Fairleigh Dickenson University and a Teacher of Handicap Certification K-12 and Masters, Special Education, Emotional Disturbances from Kean University. Phillip also holds 30 post- graduate credits in the Wilson Reading Program, Foundations Reading Program, and Four-Square Writing Program. In addition to all of the above, he has been active in his community as a past board member of the Nutley Chapter of the American Red Cross, past member of Holy family Pastoral Council, past chairperson of Holy Family Art and Environment Committee, and a Eucharistic Minister.
