First of all yes MJ you’re definitely strong enough to break a banana in half. Second of all, I really relate to Mike’s cutting board and spoon strategy. Growing up in a household that was constantly overwhelming and hectic, We often didn’t have many clean dishes. So I tried to create as little dirty dishes as possible. That is exactly why I use the peel as a cutting board in the same spoon as my cereal to scoop slices of banana from the peel onto my bowl of cereal. However, I also use MJ’s banana monkey peeling style. Often I will forget about it and starts to peel the banana from the stem end, but many times instead of peeling the banana that just starts to split the banana peel in a strange way, and mush the banana at the tip. When this starts to happen, I flip my banana over and split monkey style.
