Imagine a podcast just for kids. There’s so much grown-up stuff out there, but kids wonna talk too, and we believe in encouraging open dialogue and creative learning from a young age!
Kids: Sometimes, it’s not so easy to talk about things or understand big topics, we know. That’s why we’re here, to explore. And don’t worry, we will always have plenty of fun and surprises.
Parents/caregivers: We know how valuable (and daunting) opening up conversation with your kiddos can be. Especially around the “bigger” topics in life. If you’re looking for some support, you’re in the right place.

14 - The Compassion Train : Let’s learn what it means to be compassionate
This episode is all about compassion and helps children imagine compassionate responses to various situations in a fun and imaginative way — through a train that only moves when you give a compassionate reply. Join Dr. Deborah Quibell, Amaya and Beezly on this special journey.
Throughout the episode, Beezly and Amaya are given three real-life situations and asked to imagine how they can respond compassionately to each one. Only when they give a reply, the train gets moving again. Compassion helps all of us to move forward . . .towards a world of kindness, care, and courage.
This episode helps children to :
Understand what compassion means
Imagine a compassionate response to specific situations
Comprehend that compassion has two parts—first, to imagine how the person may be feeling and second, to react in a kind and helpful way.
Cultivate empathy to others around them

13 - Respecting the Wishes of Others : Let’s explore kindness and respect
It's important for children to understand that kindness includes respecting the wishes and boundaries of others. Join Dr. Deborah Quibell, Amaya and Beezly as they dive deeply into the meaning of respect and how it connects to being kind through an honest and meaningful dialogue. Deborah also provides some fun reflections or journaling ideas to make the lessons more memorable for children.
Through this episode, children will have a deeper understanding of what respect means and how to practice it. We hope to broaden their definition of kindness to include considering the feelings and wishes of others, and give them a simple strategy to follow when they accidentally upset someone else or disrespect them without knowing.
