    Have you heard of Flight Club, Metro's Freo, Magnet House, The Lookout, Edison bar, The Breakwater, Amplifier, Loop & Print Hall? If you've been out partying in Perth in the last 20 years, then you have visited at least one of David's venues! The man behind many of Perth's most innovative bars, clubs, restaurants and entertainment venues sat down with us in the latest episode. We sat on the rooftop of Bob's Bar in the Print Hall complex which David has recently taken over. Above us was one GIANT Orange tree which we speak about over a pint of Swan & Guinness. We discuss David's beginnings which nearly saw him join the airforce, then after a dislocated shoulder he pivoted into starting up a mobile phone business which he scaled up and ended up selling at a very healthy profit.  After sitting around "retired" for a couple of years, David got bored and started looking for the next business to build or buy. Accidentally he stumbled across Capital - a nightclub in which he never intended to purchase. Fast forward 19 years & he's just been inducted as a legend of Hospitality in the Australian Hotels Association.
