    Episode 19: Walking Through the Trauma of Grief Part 2 with Todd and Heather Laba

    Continue listening to Todd and Heather Laba as they share their heart-aching story of losing a loved one, and the confusion and questions that it creates, while figuring out how to continue forward.  "Everyone's trauma is different. Don't confuse God's apparent silence for His absence. Our anchor has to be in Scripture. Only You (God) hold the words of eternal life." Listen in to hear how to show up and be there for someone who is going through the hardship of loss.  - How do I deal with someone who has lost someone? Todd and Heather explain several ways, but one key is to bring it up. Todd says, “The last thing you want to do, and the easiest thing to do is to hold back, but people don’t realize that when you bring it up, you’re actually acknowledging the loss but celebrating the life of the person.” You need to show up and bring it up to show people you care.  Heather says it beautifully on how she saw God through this loss; "The kindness of God to supply all of our needs even when we didn’t know what we needed."
