It’s odd that although Access Consciousness teaches non-judgment, the facilitators come across as extremely judgmental. I learned about Access several years ago and really loved the premise. The questions and clearings really changed my life. But the people who teach and facilitate buy into this odd idea that anyone who is “normal” is homogeneous and limited. If you don’t act, talk and believe the way they do, you’re simply human, rather than the much better and more desirable humanoid. While telling you there’s nothing wrong with that, they list all the reasons why that’s no fun! The “us” vs “them” mentality is frustrating in its blatant contradiction to the tenets of Access. There is so much possibility in Access Consciousness (pun intended) but the culture that’s been created limits it. I’m glad I learned of this modality, but find I cannot be a part of its community. While not all facilitators exhibit this contradictory behavior, enough do that the whole system is tainted. I hope it changes one day. It’s a very valuable and powerful collection of tools. The attitudes can easily be left behind.
