    The What Else Sucks Podcast #015 - Taboo FX Episode 2 - Jason and Scott Recap What's Going On and Make Some Predictions

    Just to be safe, we should say that there are minor spoilers in this post and in the episode.  Episode 2 of FX's new series, "Taboo" starring Tom Hardy aired this week and while it clued us in to some more details about James Keziah Delaney's (can't resist throwing that middle name in) often guessed about past, there ended up being more questions than before by the end of the episode. There are admittedly and unfortunately, fewer top hats in this episode. We find out some things, such as what James buried in the beginning of episode 1 - huge ass diamonds, that just about everyone is on the take from East India Company, and that there is an American spy presence in London.  We're also met with questions about who sent this silver toothed guy to get his neck bitten out in botched murder attempt number one as well as who sent this actress lady to lay a claim to the Delaney inheritance.   A recurring point in the conversation is how well paced the show is.  According to this article on Rotten Tomatoes, Hardy says the pace will continue to pick up and some wild stuff will go down later this seasone.g. fruit, horse, bed.  In the same article, the writer says, "If you think you know what’s going to happen next, you’re probably wrong.”   We're all in on that.     The What Else Sucks Podcast #014 - Taboo FX Episode 1 - Jason and Scott Discuss The Introduction To The New Show From FX Starring Tom Hardy

    Contrary to popular belief, the What Else Sucks Podcast is not dead.  As proof of that, we have a new episode about a guy who says he is dead. Jason and Scott's affinity for Tom Hardy roles is well documented and evidenced in the minicast on  "Bronson" (which you should totally check out - the movie that is, and also our show about it).  After honing his ability to give intimidating looks, Hardy's new venture that he and his father, "Chips" Hardy, worked on together is a gritty looking period piece out of 1814 London, called "Taboo." Taboo airs on FX, Tuesdays at 10:00pm EST. In this episode, Jason recommends another Hardy movie called "Locke," Scott delivers two hot take predictions for this season of the show, the guys discuss gravedigging and graverobbing, and they give an over/under on the botched murder attempts on Hardy's character, James Keziah Delaney.
