    Episode 43: 7323 Chicago Cafe' with Marquinn "Q" Gibson

    "Son, you're anointed," were some of the first words I uttered to Chef Q after I had bitten "The Handshake." It's a Cajun-style Turkey Panini on Tuscan pane bread filled with flavor and joy in each bite. I had known Q for years, and it was also my first time visiting the cafe'. Captured with an idea to provide healthier food options in his community of Hyde Park, Chicago, Chef Q began by questioning his path to realizing his dreams. After a move from Los Angeles and wondering which route he would take, his gift was whispering to him through catering gigs. 7323 is the numerical address of his grandmother's home where he found his love for food and serving others. In this episode we dove deep into the setups, setbacks, obstacles, tears, and ultimately the triumph! After testing the market, Chef Q began to seek ways to bring the dream to reality. After being awarded a grant, he received the necessary funds to get started and bring light to a blighted park.     "If He is leading you, you cannot fail!" Wise words from a wise woman! Quonda is an entrepreneur, business owner, prayer warrior, she always tells her people, "War with the Word until you see results in your life." Coming up in Connecticut with not the best resources, Quonda moved to Raleigh, NC and there she attained three degrees, had a job at an ophthalmology practice, got laid off and ended up on her parents couch...at rock bottom. She began to cry out to the Lord and He answered her with instructions to build a business beginning with a Facebook page. She was obedient, did the work and I Need A Word was born. Now Quonda helps Christian business owners build themselves and their businesses through the Word of God. She encourages everyone to get scriptures and meditate on the Word daily for their breakthrough! Terry graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2017 and eventually had to return home to Memphis in search of work. After months and months of looking, he landed a job with a finance company, but he always knew there was more for him. One day he decided to step out and get his notary license; the rest is history. He details how somethings are not natural to him but because the dream was so strong he dedicated himself to learning.
