The art of the question and the relationship of clarity have been lost in the rapid polarization of society. As a person of trans experience, I know first hand what it's like to face difficult and often triggering questions from folks—some who mean really well and get shut down for how the broach a subject.

This podcast stems from the need to understand one another. It's a safe place to explore different views from a common place—understanding. All of my guests are invited to share their truth and we ask one another questions to understand the why, the how, the who and the what of it all.

To Understand Gossip: an introduction and invitation

To Understand Gossip: an introduction and invitation

In this episode, I talk about my very recent experience of being gossipped about in a very real and harmful way without getting into the details...because that's the point!

Toxicity breeds and amplifies more toxic patterns and behaviour. Let's breakdown a bit about what gossip has been, how it's been used, and how it does damage and maybe, just maybe, move forward in a way where detached compassion and empathy for the wounded ego that profits off of gossip.

At the end of the day the person hurting the most in a gossip situation is the one chin wagging about everyone else to avoid processing their own baggage.

I get it, I've been there. I would love to connect with you and hear more about your story. Find out how to work with me by visiting https://www.cherylfolland.ca/links
