The Journey to Creating Multiple Side Buisinesses + Tie-Mates with Dominique Jones

The Journey to Creating Multiple Side Buisinesses + Tie-Mates with Dominique Jones

I have been a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist for 11 years. I am excited to be launching a new product that was developed because of my son’s interest to learn how to tie his shoes at 4 years old. Thinking like an SLP helped us learn this difficult skill of shoe-tying and we were able to develop something as a family that is intentional and fun. We are thrilled to share Tie-Mates with others and hope it brings smiles and confidence to many children and families! Our goal is to enhance child development, while empowering parents.

10/10

I’m an SLP graduate student. I’m a 1.5 year into the program and have another 1.5 left. I absolutely LOVE this podcast. Us graduate students absolutely need this space. Last semester I almost gave up. I was in a rut and just felt like I wasn’t good enough and I didn’t belong in this field. I’ve never related to so many stories, and it’s honestly so motivating! If you’re an undergrad student, grad student, or even a certified clinician, please listen to this podcast! It’s worth every second. Thank you Sam!!

Just finished listening to episode 5 and so glad I did. It resonantes with me. I am also an online SLP grad student and 11 weeks pregnant. This episode gave me hope, tears, and strength to get through the day. I don’t feel so alone now. Very glad I took the time to listen. Thanks Sam for making it happen.
