32 - One Milkshake With Two Straws

Welcome to episode 32 of What Was That Called Again? with Thomas and WIll. In this installment, we recorded while Thomas had been awake for about 28 or so hours straight. You can decide if that really made any kind of difference or not.
We start off with drink check, the new hit segment. We get right into the show after that and Will is not familiar with anything being discussed but he tries his damndest anyway, and maybe does alright, maybe does poorly. We cover some brief info on the films before we get into our creative segment which is based around the quote Thomas pulled for today’s show. Give it a go and don’t forget to tune in to 102.6 - The Cupid.
    Enjoy.

31 - Secret Life Of Basketball

31 - Secret Life Of Basketball

Welcome to episode 31 of What Was That Called Again? with Thomas and Will. In this episode, we kick right off with a discovery that Will in fact has been living a double life, and despite years of friendship, Thomas just now, on air, learned that Will secretly has been an avid lover of sports. Except just mainly college basketball. We talk about that for a while, and then we get to our indie sci-fi triple feature.
Thomas reveals how one of the featured movies this week was done in five days and was improvised which sends us down a deep rabbit hole on improvisational films, and how movie sites often diminish the sheer amount of work that goes into making one of those good. We get through it though and we decided to watch that movie as soon as we stopped recording, so, look forward to a recap next week.
    Enjoy.

    30 - The Only Pleasure Is… Revenge

Welcome to episode 30 of What Was That Called Again? with Thomas and Will. In this week’s episode, we kick off the show talking about how we plan to record at a certain time each week but it never happens, and we do another edition of new fan favorite segment: Drink Check.
We start the main segment and Thomas makes a sidebar to complain about how people can post plot summaries on imdb that are identical to summaries that have already been posted, with the exception of one or two words, yet we can’t get our own summaries added. But we push ahead and Will declares a hat trick and tries to keep his 100% streak on bold declarations alive.
We get to the creative segment where we try to think of drive-in themed kills, basically. This was a long one, but hope nobody minds.
    Enjoy.

    29 - Every Music

    29 - Every Music

Welcome to episode 29 of What Was That Called Again? with Thomas and Will. In this week’s installment, we kick things off by recapping life changes we have had over the nearly 2 months that we didn’t actually record an episode (good thing we were way ahead in the backlog.)
At the top we have a new segment to introduce we think everyone will love: Drink Check. Will whines about the French New Wave a bit again, and then Thomas mentions an old idea he and Will came up with years ago but Will attributes it to some book, even though we in fact came up with it. But before the conversation gets anymore awkward, we slide right into the show and right off the bat, Will confesses to a crime he committed as a child.
We get through the meat of the show and get to the creative segment which we run with for a while. Basically we make our own opening to a mumblecore movie and we found it quite comical. As we are to do, it gets dark right at the very end, nearly at random.

28 - Longest Train Trip Ever

Welcome to episode 28 of What Was That Called Again? with Thomas and Will. In this week’s episode, we go into three French films. But first we talk about the Russian Ark and we start a new segment called “drink check”. Anyway, Will thinks he may have seen or at least slept through one or two of them. Thomas kind of remembers watching one several years ago but doesn’t remember a lot about the film, except that he didn’t like it much. We eventually get to the creative segment and Thomas struggles through but we eventually reach a conclusion and then the show just ends. This is truly a nouvelle vague style episode.

    27 - I’m Just Not 'Perty Enough

Welcome to episode 27 of What Was That Called Again? with Thomas and Will. In this week’s episode, we kick things off by randomly discussing a band called The Hu as well as a brand of sparkling water.
We eventually get into the movies and neither of us really know any of the three movies, despite the fact that I, Thomas, selected them. Nevertheless, we get through Will’s drunken thinking, Thomas gives some info on the flicks, we get a poster tagline as well as a quote, and then a creative segment where Thomas makes a reference that Will thought was an original, only to be disappointed when he finds out Thomas took it from somewhere.
    Enjoy.
