The CultCast

Thank you for standing up for the environment and not caring what some of these hating reviews are saying. Just because we can do something doesn’t mean we should. Hopefully AI will pop and we can all enjoy the downfall of it.

I’ve listened to the CultCast since its first episode. Over the years some hosts have left but Erfon Elijah was the glue that held things together. Since his departure the podcast is much less fun, and none of the 3 current hosts seem to know how to bring any energy to the program. Instead of always listening to a new episode I now only occasionally put it on. Hopefully things improve.

Good show with some irreverent humor. Writing specifically because Griffin’s rant on ai being garbage reminded me of an old man who shakes fist at cloud. Some similar arguments from the past: books are good and TV/film are garbage; indie films are good and blockbuster films are garbage; I will also say they are hesitant to criticize Apple, but maybe I’m too impartial.

Edit: That was scary effective at getting your attention. I guess AI is creative after all! Got your attention by using its interpretation of your own style in that AI segment 😂 By the way it is and was 2 stars and still is 2 stars. Really enjoy Leander being back. Wish Erfon could come back and replace Griffin. Most of the time Griffin’s pretentiousness is annoying and fleeting. But when he gets on his high horse and acts as the arbiter of culture and morality, I find him insufferable. He leave no room for nuance or discussion. That sort of thinking leads to division and polarity.
