José Tombe's Colombian journey to Aotearoa 🏳️‍🌈✊🏾

As an asylum immigrant from Colombia to Aotearoa, Jose has had quite the journey to help support the community around him and what it means for Colombian immigrants. With a background in entrepreneurship and youth empowerment while working for the government in Colombia, he has faced the Colombian mafia head-on, as what he did challenged and was a threat to their lifestyle. In this episode, we learn about that immigration process, the Colombian community in Wellington, what it means to be Colombian and identify as gay 🏳️‍🌈, and dive into the incredible movie 'Encanto' that highlights the Colombian culture.
