Great stories of the lived Black experience

There is something about Ray's voice, humor and depth that always draws me in. Authentic and unique, I first heard him on other podcasts, then looked him up and found this one.
I'm an older white Californian woman who, when growing up, never knew much about the horrors of racism. Ray's voice is compelling snd full of personal insight, for those who want to know more. This man knows how to tell a story! And once you see the through-lines of slavery and Jim Crow into the present day; the need to move forward with positive activism gets a lot clearer.
