When (and when not) to use that shiny new technology

Building a company is hard, and developing the tech that powers that company comes with a lot of tough decisions, especially for non-technical co-founders. When should you embrace a hot new technology, and when should you stick with tried-and-true tools?

At Tanooki Labs, we're big nerds, so we're naturally obsessed with the shiny new technology toys and dig in eagerly when they emerge. We've been right at the forefront experimenting with Crypto, AI, and lots more. At the same time, 99% of what we build keeps it simple and doesn't use those new tools. In this episode, we discuss the balance between exploration and execution, and some of our thoughts on how to make those choices.
