She comes from a mixed cultural background, with an American mother and a Moroccan father, which gives her a unique perspective on the world. In this episode, we delve into Camille's groundbreaking graduate program, which focuses on the possible use of psychedelics for different mental health concerns. The program is one of the first of its kind and explores the pharmacologic and physiologic considerations for possible cognitive drug development and delivery projects. As an empath, clairvoyant medium, and Celtic witch, Ali has always been fascinated by the spiritual realm.  She has been practicing and teaching Reiki, a Japanese energy healing system, since 2006, offering private sessions and classes and providing free Reiki services to people experiencing homelessness, dementia, and terminal illness.  In 2011, Ali earned her master's degree in Holistic Health from St. Catherine University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  She began guiding yoga and meditation classes in 2015, earning additional certifications in Yoga for Cancer Care, Trauma-Informed Yoga, and Yoga for 12-Step Recovery.  She became a certified Peer Recovery Specialist in Wisconsin from 2020-2022 and actively volunteers in her local sober community!
