Where It All Started - Lewis OfMan

In this conversation, Lewis OfMan traces his path frommaking GarageBand loops as a kid to playing his first songs in a tiny Paris studio cave. Along the way, he shares why getting deeply familiar with just one piece of equipment can spark more creativity than having every tool at your fingertips. You’ll hear how an old Pioneer helped transform drums on 50KWTTS, why Lewis listens to finished tracks while walking in a park, and how influences from Jay-Z and Linkin Park to Arctic Monkeys, Led Zeppelin, and psychedelic rock found their way into his musical instincts.  Lewis gets into the unpredictable rhythm of touring, the joyof making music with friends, and Lewis’s next creative turn: playful, funky, feel-good songs with a more grown-up perspective. For fans of inventive electronic music and anyone who’s evermade something memorable with limited tools, this is a conversation about following curiosity, trusting the feeling, and finding the people your music reaches.
