Omar reflects on longevity in the music industry, explaining that survival has come from being focused, hard-headed, and committed to making music that feels true to him rather than chasing trends. We also discuss his songwriting process, his distinctive approach to basslines and arrangement, and why musicians are so often drawn to his work.
