Brock Kingsley and Jason Wiseman discuss and review movies worth watching in a way that nerd-ish types do when they sit down to chat. Passionate opinions, (bad) inside jokes, obscure references, and rants; there will be rants. Often irreverent, sometimes insightful. Plus, occasional special guests and special topics.

Gregg Araki's 'Totally F***ed Up,' and a Brat Pack double bill of 'Brats,' and 'St. Elmo's Fire'
On today's episode: more Araki! We look at the first of the Teen Apocalypse Trilogy with 'Totally F***ed Up.' And we dig into the Brat Pack with Andrew McCarthy's new doc 'Brats' and the movie that set flames to a generation of stars, 'St. Elmo's Fire' (terrible songs in this movie, terrible).

'Hit Man,' 'The Last Stop in Yuma County,' and Gregg Araki's 'The Living End'
Boy, Jason really dislikes 'Hit Man' (more people should). But we talk about some films that he does like, namely 'The Last Stop in Yuma County,' and the prequel (?) to Gregg Araki's Teen Apocalypse Trilogy, 'The Living End.' Come for the Glenn Howard discussion, stay for the talk about how important Araki is and how he doesn't get his due.

Alamo Drafthouse DFW Reopening Reaction
We interrupt our regular posting schedule to bring you an emergency solo pod, Screamers. While Brock is in Indianapolis seeing movies, Jason has some thoughts on the reopening of the DFW Alamo Drafthouses. It's an episode that's honest, emotional, uncensored...uses interesting metaphors that Jason swears never happened to him. The Wilhelm boys will be back together for the next full episode. Until then, scream along with Jason.

'Gasoline Rainbow' & 'The Long Weekend (O'Despair)'
O'Despair like Bucket O'Chicken. We're back to discuss another early (early) Gregg Araki film, "The Long Weekend (O'Despair)." It's a lot of people talking a lot about how depressed they are--and it's brilliant. We also talk about "Gasoline Rainbow," the lates "documentary"(?) from the Ross brothers. Hang in there, Screamers.

'The Coffee Table,' and Gregg Araki's 'Three Bewildered People in the Night'
Let's all keep our heads, Screamers. It's a new episode with talk about the new film 'The Coffee Table,' and the new trailer for 'Twisters.' We're also starting a new series on the films of Gregg Araki by looking at his first film (made for $5k!) 'Three Bewildered People in the Night.' Shorter episodes more often=same Screaming Wilhelm.
