    Faithful Friday #9: Love One Another

    Welcome to Faithful Friday. This week, we're reflecting on John 13:34-35, where Jesus gives His disciples a new commandment: "Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." Jesus doesn't simply ask us to love those who are easy to love. He calls us to love others with the same grace, compassion, and selflessness He has shown us. Our love is one of the clearest ways the world sees Christ through us. As you listen, consider this reflection question: Who is God calling me to love more intentionally this week, especially someone who may be difficult to love? After the Scripture reading, you'll have an opportunity to pause for personal prayer and reflection before returning to pray the Our Father together.     Will Robbins: Christ Is My Caddy

    What would you do if your life changed in an instant? In this episode of Why I Believe, I sit down with Will Robbins, golf coach, entrepreneur, and man of faith, to share a story of survival, surrender, and transformation. In 2004, on the final day of his honeymoon in Thailand, Will and his wife were caught in the devastating tsunami that claimed over 200,000 lives. With no warning… Everything changed. Swept underwater. Separated. Certain he was about to die. But somehow… he survived. And so did his wife. That moment should have changed everything. But like many of us… he tried to take control of his life back. These words were spoken to Martha in the midst of grief, disappointment, and loss. They serve as a reminder that Jesus brings hope into our darkest moments and new life into places that seem beyond repair. Sometimes we find ourselves facing situations that feel hopeless, a broken relationship, a lost dream, a season of burnout, uncertainty, fear, or pain. Yet Jesus invites us to trust that He is still at work, bringing life where we can only see endings.
