Episode 67: Don't Look Up It's 2022
In this episode: we're back from the dead, Don't Look Up, and Taylor's story about a dispute between a 13 Reasons star and a LA dog rescue.
Editing Note: Taylor thinks I there was a part where I got mad at her for interrupting me. See if you know where it is. FYI I was NOT mad.

Customer Reviews
Apple, you can’t keep me from reviewing this pod!!
I don’t know whats happening, but my first review took like five tries to actually post and now after one finally did, it got deleted?? Apple, you fascist monster, you can’t keep a true parmhead from giving the Why Not folks a five star review!
I actually am mostly here to tell a previous commenter who loves incrementalism that they’re hella super duper wrong. And that that is what lead to trumpism. Incrementalism and reaching across the aisle has done nothing for decades but placate those who pay little attention or don’t have the time or energy to pay attention. It’s as much of a lie as trickle down economics. Kay byyyyeee
Love my parmparents!! Mavericks for lyfe!!
Why not? Plenty of reasons.
I was looking forward to a 13 reasons why rewatch podcast, which is originally what your podcast started as. Wow, was I let down. I wish we could speak back and forth or have some sort of dialogue so I could teach you so much about life.
I’ve never been more frustrated in my life than when I listened to some of your episodes. I wanted to yell at you. You two might just be the most pretentious people on the planet.
You mock athletes: I guarantee neither of you played a sport or were athletic enough to do so. Also, 99.9% of athletes aren’t rapists or on steroids or anything else this show depicted. If by some miracle either of you did participate in athletics, you should know better than the nonsense you spew on here.
You trash law enforcement: See above. I was a cop for 8 years. I take great offense to morons like you running your mouth about something you obviously don’t have a clue about. Are there some bad cops in the world ? Yes. There are also bad doctors, teachers, truck drivers, and even bad “podcasters”. Do we defund the teachers whenever one is found guilty of sleeping with a student ? Are they all bad teachers when one shows up to school drunk? I forgot we can’t apply logic to things. It wouldn’t fit the cool social media rhetoric you people have created.
I could continue but what is the point. I decided to listen to more episodes and give you another try. I figured I should keep an open mind. Another mistake. It never gets better. I wish I could go a show live with you and debate you and school you on pretty much everything, but you wouldn’t have the courage.
Why Not? How many more reasons do you need.
Love Hate Meh
Hey guys,
Longtime listener, first time caller. Big fan of your work but, I have some thoughts on Lovecraft.
1. I don’t think most people knew who Lovecraft was prior to the show or even after watching. I think there’s a large number of people tuning in because it represents more black representation on tv & Peele as a producer is like a Dr. Dre co-sign of Snoop or Eminem.
2. Objectively it’s not a great show but I think the lens through which you view it may keep you from giving it the same opportunity that some black people might
3. So in that same vein, to say you don't know the characters’ names feels a tad disrespectful given the relative importance & weight of this show for black horror/sci-fi
