Just 2 young widows
As a young widow, you are faced with a complete change in the structure of how you live you life, in addition to grieving the person you loved most and the future you were planning together. I was sorely unprepared 4 months ago when my husband died. Anita and Mel get this, but they aren’t brought down by it. They look at widowhood with honesty, compassion, and even humor. The podcast is a mix of storytelling with guests and lessons on grief that are educational without being preachy, which I think sets them apart from similar podcasts. If you are missing your person, if you have kids, if you don’t have kids, listen to these women and know you are not alone.
Rating from a non-Widow
I’m not a widow myself but I have been loving listening to this podcast after a sweet cousin of mine became one. This podcast has helped me become more aware of the struggles that widows face and how I can be a support to them. Much love for Anita, Mel and everyone who is a widow/widower. ❤️
Love these widows!!
I’m not a widow. But I have friends who are, and I might well be one someday! I heard Anita interviewed on a another podcast and was drawn in by her vulnerability, honesty, and humor about such a difficult life experience. So I came to hear more and found Mel! Both women offer their unique and shared experiences to let others understand what a complex mix of joy and pain this life can encompass. I love what they are doing.
