Bitcoin's growth over the next decade is so wild even posting this social media post that inspired this episode felt weird but here we are. We live in a world where fiat can be printed infinitely which, in theory, means that Bitcoin, a finite resource, could see its price appreciate at an astronomically rate as its adoption continues. However, after seeing some infographics on Instagram from friends in Guatemala and Mexico, I decided to pivot and discuss the importance that digital ownership will likely play in the future of impoverished communitIes in the developing word who will be impacted by the climate crisis and therefore may need to move to find new opportunities.
