Ok. On the Otherkin episode. Horses, Wolves, and Foxes are NOT Otherkin identities…? If a person identified as a Horse Wolf or Fox, they would be considered a Therian or a Theriothrope. Someobdy change this detail! Very incorrect. The other identities listed are the following: (they all end in kin usally) • Alienkin (Starseed is also similar, but they have the heart and soul of an alien, but do not identify in any way as one) • Angelkin • Demonkin (My fiancé is a Demonkin!) • Dragonkin (I am a dragonkin, more specifically a European Dragon) • Mythkin (this includes unicorns, mermaids, sirens, and any type of boogeymen. I am a Mermaid and Boogeyman Mythkin) • Fairykin (NOT the same as Fairytok btw, but some Fairykin do Fairytok to feel more connected to their identity, I’m kinsidering which means I’m considering if it is one of my kins) • Plantkin (I am a Plantkin, I identify as Japanese Blood Grass and my fiancé identifies as a Pitcher Plant) • Machinekin/Robotkin • Conceptkin (this includes music, art, and theroys) • Fictionkin (anyone who identifies as a fictional character or species, my 2 biggest kins are Alastor from Hazbin Hotel and Marcille from Delicious In Dungeon. It’s fun hearing random articles from wiki that you’d normally wouldn’t happen across. The blind reading aspect makes for some pronunciation attempts that are mutually hilarious for the hosts and the listeners. Rachel is delightful and Victor is insightful. However Victor has a tendency to be awfully dismissive, bordering on rude, to Rachel, hence the cringe.

These hosts seem nice and I wish them well but it feels off to have a podcast where you just read what others have written. Maybe I should just copy someone else’s review and paste it here instead of writing one myself?

I’ve been questioning being an Otherkin for so long! I thought that my dragon identity was a Theriotype but now I know that it’s actually a kin type!
