A podcast to take anywhere

I first discovered Wild Ideas Worth Living back in 2018 after meeting Mark Mcinnis at Poler Stuff. A bit later I saw him promoting a podcast he had recently been on, so I dove in. I was intrigued with Shelby and her way to so effortlessly connect to her guests. The podcast became my go-to for my morning commute to school. As an avid reader, especially of memoirs, I loved that I was given the opportunity to hear so many strangers stories, and on such an intimate level. Shelby isn’t afraid to ask the deep questions and the vulnerability that her guests evoke is inspiring. The guests accomplishments are such a vast array; every listener will find some way to connect, big or small. This podcast is the perfect companion for any adventure, whether it be solo trips to the sierras, surf trips with friends, working in your garden, morning commutes, etc. It is a podcast rooted in love. Cheers!

Mike Posner’s Episode

I recommend this podcast so frequently because it moves me every single time I listen. You have such a way of finding the most inspirational people that usually turn out to be just regular people walking around that just happened to have an idea. But something was different with the Mike Posner episode. I listened during week 8 (I think) of the stay at home orders and just hearing his story and hearing that it kinda started with the alchemist inspired me in a whole new way. That’s one of my favorite books of all time. I always listen and think “what will my wild idea be” and it never comes to me. But as soon as he mentioned the alchemist, I knew it would come to me this time. And it did :) thank you so much for this podcast, Shelby!!
