    Ep. 60: Reclaiming My Voice

In this episode, I reflect on my journey with using my voice, from being someone who froze in conversations, stayed on the periphery, and left interactions filled with regret, to someone who now trusts herself to speak, share, and be seen. I explore how what I once saw as being a “good listener” was often a way of hiding, and how not expressing myself led to resentment and disconnection. Through years of practice, speaking in small moments, in women’s circles, on Instagram, and through this podcast I’ve learned to move with my nervous system rather than against it, to see the physical sensations of fear as a signal rather than a stop sign, and to tend to myself as I grow. I speak about the power of sharing imperfectly, of letting the “brown water” run before clarity comes, and how using our voice connects us to the people we’re meant to find. This is an invitation to all the periphery dwellers, deep feelers, and quiet observers to gently step forward, speak what’s on your heart, and trust that your voice matters more than you know. Ep. 59: Tending to the Parts of Me

I return to the podcast after a three-week break and found myself reflecting on how easily I create rules around how things “should” be done. Without my usual setup, I noticed the resistance to doing it more simply and chose to show up anyway, imperfectly, messily, and in the midst of real life. In this episode I share how even something small, like a mouth ulcer, can impact my mood, sleep, and patience, and how this, alongside the Easter holidays, leaves me feeling pulled in many directions, between motherhood, work, and caring for myself. There is a part of me telling me I am dropping all the balls, that I am not doing anything well, and I began to recognise that voice as just one part of me, not the whole truth. I talk about parts work and how powerful it is to relate to myself in this way. I notice a wounded part of me being activated, the part that worries I have said something wrong or made a mistake, and instead of letting it spiral, I chose to tend to it with compassion. By bringing in a more grounded, steady part of myself to hold that vulnerability, the anxiety softened much more quickly than it would have in the past. This episode is really an invitation to remember that we are made up of many parts, all valid and worthy, and that no single part defines us. Even in the mess and the overwhelm, there is an opportunity to meet ourselves with care, to hold it all, and to return to a sense of simplicity and self-trust.

Ep. 58: Creativity, Possibility & Living Out Loud

This episode is about trusting what wants to move through us, living our truth out loud, and remembering the vast possibility and magic available when we clear away what no longer belongs. I talked about: Returning to The Artist’s Way and the power of creativity as our natural stateHow morning pages have changed my relationship with myselfReframing social media as a space for healing and authentic expressionEmotional “swamping” and reclaiming emotions as vitality and creative fuelDecluttering the outer and inner worlds as a path to our true selvesTrusting intuition, magic, and the unseen forces guiding our livesWhy I believe deeply in human possibility and limitlessness To join in the Lucky Dip session on Monday 16th March click here. Ep. 57: Your Heart is a Renewable Resource

In this episode, I share a note that came through during my morning pages about the nature of the heart and how love regenerates when we allow it to flow not only outward to others but inward to ourselves too. I explore the idea that many of us have been taught to give endlessly without directing love back to ourselves, and how learning to tend to our own hearts first changes everything. I talk about the small practices that help me do this each day, from morning pages and mirror work to setting boundaries around my phone in the morning and how these moments of self-tending create more capacity for love, presence and joy in the rest of life. Ep. 56: From Shit Talk to Self Love

In this episode, I explore the power of inner dialogue and how the way I speak to myself, especially first thing in the morning shapes my entire day and my experience of life. I share how shifting from self-criticism to self-love has been foundational in my healing, and why noticing and rewriting our internal language is one of the most powerful forms of decluttering we can do. Join Language Alchemy: Speak Your Power into Being Here! 26th February Online (Zoom) at 7.30pm If you'd like to write a love letter to yourself to be opened at a later date then join this gorgeous and expansive Letter Writing Workshop which is now available to be accessed instantly where we do this practice together. Ep. 55: Language as Liberation - Declutter the Words that Bind You

In this episode, I continue exploring one of my greatest passions - language and communication, and how the words we use shape our self-worth, our energy, and the way we show up in the world. I talk about the subtle, everyday ways we diminish ourselves through language. The filler words. The apologetic phrases. The habitual “sorry.” The “does that make sense?” that quietly undermines our authority. These words seem small, but they carry weight. They send messages to ourselves and to others about whether we believe we belong and whether we trust our own voice. I explore how language isn’t just about words. Communication is largely non-verbal -f tone, body language, energetics. But the words themselves matter deeply. They are a doorway into our nervous system, our patterns, our inherited conditioning. This is not to shame ourselves or policing our speech. It’s to inspire curiosity. It’s to start gently noticing. It’s to begin asking: Where am I making myself smaller?Where am I apologising for taking up space? Is it safe for me to be fully me? I reflect on how much of this is passed down generationally, especially for women. How our children are watching how we speak to ourselves. How we respond to mistakes. How we look in the mirror. And how we can choose differently. This work, for me is liberation. Coming back to who we already are beneath the layers of protection. Creating safety in our nervous systems so that it feels increasingly safe to be our true selves. Language is one powerful way to feel this. Ep. 54: Language Alchemy: Speak your Power into Being

In this episode, I share why language has become one of the deepest threads of my life and why I’m so passionate about helping women become aware of the words they use...especially the subtle ones that shrink us. I talk about the filler phrases and apologetic language so many of us use, “just,” “kind of,” “sort of,” “almost”, and how these words aren’t random. They are the echoes of conditioning. They are the language of the “good girl,” the appeaser, the woman taught to stay small. This episode is an invitation into awareness. Not shame. Not self-criticism. Awareness. I share my own journey from being a painfully shy child hiding behind my parents, to devouring personal development books in secret, to becoming a speech and language therapist, to now speaking confidently on podcasts and to groups. In this episode, I explore: Why words are not neutral, they carry energetic weight How apologetic language subtly reinforces self-doubt The difference between cognitive knowing and embodied confidence How awareness alone begins to shift everything Why decluttering your language is like decluttering your home How we can model empowered communication for the next generation The link between self-worth, subconscious beliefs, and the words we choose I also speak about sovereignty. The truth that we get to choose who we are becoming. Our personality is not fixed. Our conditioning is not destiny. When we realise the stories in our minds are often lies… everything becomes possible. This work is not about stifling ourselves or becoming hyper-controlled with language. It’s about embodied presence. It’s about speaking with clarity and conviction. It’s about letting our wisdom land without watering it down. This episode is an invitation to start noticing. Because once you see it, you can’t unsee it. And that’s where the magic begins. Ep. 53: The Portal of Silence

I'm back after a couple of weeks break to explore the transformative practice of silence and stillness. In this episode, I revisit a blog post I wrote last July called "The Portal of Silence" and share insights from my current 7-day "Settling into Silence" offering with Jemma from Goddess Candles. I delve into the power of sitting in silence, unplugging from technology, and cultivating a deeper relationship with my soul self. I discuss how we sensitive souls and empaths can harness our unique power during these transformative times by turning inward, releasing emotions through the body, and trusting our inner guidance rather than external "shoulds." Key themes I explore: The practice of daily silence and what it revealsTools for processing emotions and staying centeredRedefining leadership and showing up authenticallyUnderstanding ourselves as unique, essential pieces of the human puzzleConnecting with the essence that animates our human formSelf-love, worthiness, and the expansive power of the heartThis episode is my call to honour your sensitivity, trust your unique path, and reconnect with the power that lies within the stillness.
