    Less Qualified Is Often Better

    You may be aiming too low to get hired.Because being overqualified works against you. 🎯 Imagine two candidates: Just barely qualified.Massively overqualified. Given the choice, employers often prefer the person who is just barely qualified. Why? They have room to grow. 🌱They’re more likely to stick around.They won’t cost as much to hire.They see the position as a step forward.They’re open to learning how this employer does things. The massively overqualified candidate creates a different set of concerns: Will they leave when something better appears?Will they expect more money? 💰Will they get bored doing the actual job?Will they resist doing things our way? None of those concerns may be fair.They’re still real. So if you’re overqualified for every position you’re applying for and you’re not getting hired, stop aiming lower. Aim higher. 🚀 Look for opportunities where YOU’RE just barely qualified. That’s where you have room to grow.That’s where an employer can see your potential.
