Perfect for MW Studies

I am so glad to have stumbled across a wine news podcast by my friends Katie & Matt. They are a truly reliable source for all the important things happening in the wine and drinks industry. This is going to help me greatly in my exam this year! Cheers! 🥂

A rapid bolus of worldwide news

A quick and wide ranging weekly summary of the corporate world of wine, beer and spirits with an unabashed emphasis on wine. As coronavirus races around the world, they employ a natural curiosity to examine the effect of the pandemic on sales and marketing of alcoholic drinks. A local focus on the impact of California fires is juxtaposed to the effect of the alcohol ban in South Africa on the wine industry there. Their traditional coda featuring ‘the wine of the week’ may leave you thirsty for something more than coffee on your podcast laden morning commute.

Solid updates from highly experienced pros

From straight up “Driving Miss Daisy”ing Jancis Robinson, to an in-depth wine marketeer/traveler with cutting edge insight, this duo gives solid updates on the world of beverage hospitality. A little scripted hokiness at times, but if my wife and I were this cool we would be too. I’ve also listened to every episode of Matthew’s World of Wine and and Drink 🙊. Solid podcast. Keep up the great work Matthew and Katie.
