The Best Show on Ski Tourism Ever

Absolutely love this show. Especially like the insights on the industry, local recommendations, and ski bum commentary. Alex, please do a show on the resorts that are open (June). I skied A-Basin May 31st, 2020 and the vibes were euphoric. I won the lottery two days in a row, but I had to fly home to Seattle. I’m heading to Crystal Mountain later this week, I hope. If I get back to A-Basin this year, I will save you a space.

Don’t listen if you ski in jeans

Wintry Mix provides an outlet for his balanced perspectives on the ski industry as well as a broad variety of others to share the current state of the mountain tourism industry and also a guess as to where it’s going. Alex doesn’t pull punches and is very open in calling it as he sees it so if you’re not open to a variety of perspectives (and if you ski in jeans) you should skip this podcast, otherwise sit back and enjoy a solid analysis of the ski biz and where it is and where it’s going.

Excellent and Entertaining

Started listening to AK and the Wintry Mix about a year ago and it’s consistently informative and entertaining. Particularly appreciate the recent episodes in the rapidly evolving COVID-19 topic and it’s impact on the ski industry and ski town and most importantly the stories of the people in those towns and places. Keep it up AK. Thank you!
