    Happy Wednesday! After a week of non stop, yet deeply fulfilling days my natural instinct was to push through today and get caught up on all I had fallen "behind on".     This episode continues on the conversation from last week of sitting in discomfort. (For me, this was losing a job, losing a connection, and losing some documentary footage.) Once we are sitting in discomfort, there is a mindset shift that has helped me bring in some peace through the pain: knowing everything happens for a reason. And not as a form of punishment, but that this painful experience is actually happening FOR me.     Ep 1. INTRO TO WISE TALK

    Hi, I'm Katie! My whole life I have been deeply curious about people, life and the modalities that help us understand it all. As a documentary filmmaker for the last 15 years, I have been privileged enough to meet amazing people around the world and help bring light to their stories. I believe in the power of story telling. And this time around, I'm sharing some of my own. But not from the vantage point of looking back, rather from the messy middle of being IN THE STORY present day. This podcast will be a blend of my own life experiences as I navigate them real time and share the tools and practices I bring in along the way. I will also be bringing in my documentary work, sharing some longer episodes sitting down with strangers around the world and listening in on their stories.
