    My son’s first varsity soccer game was against our biggest rival… but the real lesson came later that night when the Lord quietly checked my heart. This weekend was full of soccer, family, and a lot of emotions. As alumni of the school my son now plays for, our family was definitely invested in the game. But later that evening, when everything got quiet and I was sitting alone, the Lord gently showed me something about my heart that I didn’t expect. In this episode, I’m sharing what that moment looked like, what God showed me through it, and why those quiet moments with Him matter so much. Because sometimes the biggest lessons don’t happen in the middle of the noise… they happen in the quiet afterward. Life is real… but God is faithful.
