    Was Melchizedek an Old Testament appearance of Christ?

    In the book of Genesis, a mysterious figure named Melchizedek meets Abraham. He is called the king of righteousness and king of peace, he brings out bread and wine, he receives tithes from Abraham and blesses him, he has no recorded genealogy.
