Now… I’ve been watching your YouTube probably for two years now and friend…. I love your YouTube but I LOVEEEE THE PODCAST!!! These are the conversations I wanna have on a daily basis . These are the point of views I need to hear and connect with daily I can listen to this anywhere anytime . I play this over music !! Hey there, I’m a long time listener. I just wanted to add in my two cents about the latest episode. I really enjoyed the open nature of y’all’s conversation, but I found that some of the claims y’all made weren’t based in fact. Specifically on the concept of genes, inheritance and mental health struggles/behavior/addiction. Epigenetics is real, we do inherit things like addiction, mental health struggles, etc. These things are also learned by your environment. It’s the age old nature vs nurture, but it’s nature AND nurture more often than not. That being said we can also change the way our genes express through meditation, yoga, art, healthy connection, etc. I think finding the true self is a process of creating and uncovering who you are and who you want to be.
