    Cindy (she/they), is the Founder of Pleasure to People.  They are a certified sexuality educator specializing in sexual diversity through bilingual educational programming. Cindy is on a mission to fill the educational gaps in sexual and reproductive health programming and services by providing medically-accurate information with a holistic approach to all of their offerings. Cindy’s story is one of overcoming trauma and toxic relationships while navigating the intersections of being first generation Salvadorian Guatemalan in a conservative Central American family. Growing up they witnessed how traditional cultural beliefs plagued their community, family and most importantly reinforced shame about their queer identity. All leading them to the road of self acceptance, love and a fulfilling career as a certified sex educator. For the past decade, they have spread the word of comprehensive sex education by empowering thousands to live a life of pleasure and wellness unapologetically. Cindy supports folx to make informed sexual health decisions that align with their values.     Episode 2: Why Kalli & Beth are devoted to making birth more affirming & safe for our LGBTQ+ community.

    Today on the Womb School Podcast, we have the privilege to hear from 2 deeply devoted birth workers who are actively working on making birth work more inclusive for the LGBTQ+ community.  Beth Hardy (she/her), is a birth doula, childbirth educator, board certified music therapist, parent and founder of Heart Tone’s Birth Services. Beth is fiercely passionate about helping birthing people know their options, tap into their strength, and rock their birth. In her work, she saw a need for advocacy for underserved communities in the birth space. Which is why she is always looking to learn more about how she can be the best doula for her clients. Her training includes: Hypnobirthing, labor massage, Music Therapy Assisted Childbirth, providing culturally sensitive care to LGBTQ+ clients, Birthing at Every Size, and systemic racism & implicit bias in perinatal health.  Kalli Chason (she/they), is a queer student midwife, doula, childbirth educator, hypnobabies instructor,  placenta encapsulator, parent and the owner of Breath Birth Care.  Kalli's mantra in their work is “Any kind of birth and every kind of parent” and you see them embody this as they fiercely protect & serve birthing folks and theri family as they go through one of life’s biggest transitions into parenthood. Kalli is devoted to creating change and helping make birth more affirming, safe, and affordable, especially with LGBTQ+ birthing folk.     Episode 1: How Taq’s mission to spread the love of periods lead her to manifesting with her cycle.

    Taqdir Kaur or Taq ( She/her), is the CEO of I am with periods & author of Self Care Down There . In 2017, during her 2nd year of her PhD, she discovered  the Fertility Awareness Method and this sparked a passion that changed her life.  Not only did she get off of the birth control pill, but she also went on a life-changing trip to her homeland of India, where she got clear on her new mission to spread the WORLDWIDE LOVE OF PERIODS and to support people with their mental and emotional health!  From 2018 onwards, she directed her  research towards learning everything on menstrual cycles and mental health. Which led her to launching her blog I am With Periods, and In 2020, she published a book called Self-Care Down There. Now, in 2022, she launched the course Menstrual Cycles & Manifestation. In this episode we will dive deep into her journey and how we can tap into our womb to unleash the power of manifestation.
