Wombly Being

Morín Glimmer and Rosannah Jones

What if the very thing the world tells us to hide and endure is the source of our power? Wombly Being is a podcast and an invitation to reimagine menstruation and cyclical living as blueprints for creativity, leadership, and cultural change. Hosted by Morín Glimmer and Rosannah Jones—friends, founders, and changemakers—we ask what happens when taboo becomes a power tool and when daily life aligns with body wisdom. If you’ve ever felt your period held you back, this space is for you. Join us in re-designing how we live and work for sustainability, inclusivity, and full self-expression.

    Tending the fire

After a winter hibernation, we’re re-emerging at the midpoint between the spring equinox and the summer solstice with an episode that’s all about tending the fire and how to keep yourself and your business going without burnout. Especially as the energy around us starts to pick up pace and we’re told to “do more” and say “yes to everything.” We explore how to gently invite in more visibility, connection and creativity in your business, without booking up your calendar back-to-back so that there’s no room left for you. This is about redefining productivity in a way that honours your body's actual rhythms, and building a business that supports your energy rather than depleting it. We also revisit the forgotten wisdom of spring and how this is a time of gradual re-emergence rather than heightened activity, an important perspective for women in business navigating growth in a more sustainable way. And we bring this conversation back to menstrual cycle awareness. By paying close attention to your body’s subtle cues and the different phases and energies of your menstrual cycle, you can navigate these seasonal shifts in a way that aligns with your natural rhythms. This is an invitation to reflect on how you meet spring’s rising energy as a cyclical being, without losing yourself or overstoking the fire. Wintering Is a Feminist Practice

For the winter solstice — the longest night of the year — we’re sharing a special episode exploring wintering as a feminist practice. In a culture that rewards constant productivity and treats rest as something to earn, slowing down can feel uncomfortable, indulgent, or even irresponsible, especially for women and marginalised people. But winter isn’t something to push through or escape; it’s a vital season of wisdom and regeneration. In this episode, we explore why rest has historically become increasingly undervalued, how linear business models have shaped our relationship to time and worth, and why planning the year ahead in December so often feels wrong. Drawing on menstrual cycle awareness, seasonal rhythms, folklore, history, and lived experience, we discuss what nature teaches us about slow growth without guilt, how winter supports reflection, release, and renewal, and why honouring your inner and outer winter can be a deeply strategic (and political) way to work and live. We also guide you through a gentle body check-in for the season and share a few simple solstice rituals: a practice of releasing, resting, and making space for what wants to emerge next. This episode is an invitation to soften and let go, trust the dark, and remember: rest is not laziness, slowing down is not falling behind, and winter has something to teach us — if we’re willing to listen. Please share this podcast with a friend who needs to hear it.
