My wife and I recently got into this hobby, and I have sampled and test drove many podcasts on the subject. One common theme I noticed among these other pods was that the host(s) seemed to always be doing a “humble brag”? With their amount of points, with their trip destinations, etc. I’m sure they probably didn’t even mean to come across that way, but it was still just a little distracting. THIS podcast however…Mary Ellen and Jo are for the people. They know some of us are starting from humble beginnings, and never lose sight that they’re here to teach us (another thing lost on other pods). It’s so refreshing. I could go on forever about their personal attributes that make them perfect for this job, but first and foremost: they don’t make me feel dumb. They don’t make me feel overwhelmed. They teach. And yes, of course they talk about the cards and points they have and the trips they’re going on like the other pods…but I don’t know…it’s the WAY they say it. They’re bringing me along with them so I can learn something, instead of telling me about an experience that I’ll probably never be able to do. This is the only podcast you need to listen to if you’re a middle class family looking to make memories with your spouse and kids
