With the encouragement of a professor, Jess decided to pursue further education. Season 1, Episode 13: Sydney Does the Brave Thing

When the doctor's placed Landen on Sydney's chest for the first time, she was disappointed when she didn't feel that instant connection that so many new mothers talk about. Sydney struggled for weeks and then months trying to force herself to experience motherhood the way it was "supposed to be," but she couldn't change the way she was feeling. Like many women out there, Sydney was experiencing Postpartum Depression. It wasn't until she took a vulnerable and brave leap that things truly took a turn for the better.

Season 1, Episode 12: Scott's Oversized Baby In The NICU

Season 1, Episode 12: Scott's Oversized Baby In The NICU

Joy was two weeks past her due date when her baby finally decided to make his debut. Nothing really went according to their birth plan, but Joy and Scott were just happy to have their little boy here safely....that was, until he started having a difficult time breathing and the hospital they were at wasn't equipped to handle the situation.

We loved hearing this story from Scott's perspective. I mean, he is a natural at the whole podcast thing since he hosts his own, check it out:

Season 1, Episode 11: Break a Leg, Ali!

Season 1, Episode 11: Break a Leg, Ali!

We finally did our first recording across country (AZ, MO, ID)!

We take a trip down memory lane as three 18-year-old friends (one of which was our very own Aubrey) head up the snowy mountains for an overnight trip to a cabin. Girl talk, sledding, laughing, hot chocolate... what could possibly go wrong?

A fun little getaway takes a terribly painful turn for the worse.

Funny, relatable, and meaningful.

Listening to Word Vomit is second only to actually sitting down with your girl friends and having meaningful conversations. It’s the best way to pass time during my commute or while I’m doing dishes. The hosts are hilarious. The stories are 💯. Can’t wait for the next episode!

Once a week is not often enough with these episodes. The word vomit girls are hilarious and I feel like every time I listen I catch myself crying, too! I am not a cryer. It’s quite a rollercoaster of emotions!!
