    # How a new type of experiential psychological therapy and meditation changed my life ## An introduction to Internal Family Systems (IFS) Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a new model (around thirty years which is new in it's field) of evidence-based psychotherapy. I've been practicing it for almost a year. Starting with incredibly challenging, yet powerfully transformative, one-on-one sessions with a therapist. To developing a daily practice that combines meditation with IFS tools. The experience has been life changing. My new practice pays dividends in a balanced happy life and working at a superhuman smart level. I'm going to document my own experience. The lows to highs. My hope is that it encourages those in a darker place to start their own quest. Or those who don't feel they need any kind of 'therapy' on a journey of self discovery. Gaining a set of life and work enhancing tools.
