World Forge Revisited - You Don't Mess with the Mer-Mafia

Welcome back to another (rewind) episode of World Forge!  We're traveling this week and weren't able to get an episode out in time for release so we hope you enjoy this look back into another classic episode of the show.  This time we're talking about creating interesting evil lairs and bad guy hideouts.  The place you conduct your business out of says a lot about you as a supervillain, so we want to help make sure all you villains out there are fully equipped to carry out your dark deeds in style!

We talk about some of our favorite evil hideouts, and then go on to create some of our own including: a speakeasy for creatures of the night, and a magical baseball stadium/casino!

As always, if you enjoyed this episode or want to share any feedback please consider reaching to us on on social media!  Where is your Big Bad Evil Guy currently living?  Do you have any ideas about how to improve or expand upon our creations?  If so we can be found on twitter @worldforgepod and via email at worldforgepod@gmail.com!  We're always excited to hear from our listeners, and if you send us something really interesting we may just share it on air!  If you're feeling particularly generous, please consider leaving us a review on Apple Podcasts, or your podcasting app of choice! Great inspiration!

This couple is great! They really help with inspiration for writing scenes and NPCs as a DM or just writing in general. I love this podcast!

Something for Anyone and Everyone

Whether you’re looking for some inspiration for a tabletop role playing game and/or world building, or just enjoy hearing some free form creativity, this podcast has what you need. Sam and Piper are fun to listen to and often present ideas in a different perspective than I would typically see them. Easy 5 star review

I don’t want to eat my own sandwich

This podcast is possibly my favorite podcast out there and you should listen to it immediately! An example of why it’s so amazing: in an early episode Sam says “I don’t want to eat my own sandwich” in the same way a normal person would say “I don’t want to pat myself on the back.” What? Sam, it’s YOUR sandwich. You should eat your own sandwich xD That’s like if Sam and I went to a cafeteria and both got sandwiches, and he comes to sit down across from me, looks at his sandwich, sighs, and reaches for mine! No, that’s MY sandwich Sam, eat your own! XD 5 stars, incredible podcast!
