Great Podcast for starters

I went to school for filmmaking and was quickly finding that my true passion lies with comics. While at school, I developed a love of writing and was happy to find that many of the elements of screenwriting also apply to comics. The writing comics podcast has helped me bridge the gap between writing scripts and comics. I am looking forward to finishing my first issue of my series and would recommend this podcast to any looking to break into comics.

Got some Gems

I found this podcast looking for help ramping my comic idea up from in the ether into actual production. This podcast has some real quality advice that is at a good level of experience to help people starting out . Further along but with a solid mindset of what it’s like beginning which I find really helpful. I admire your discipline and work ethic, keep at it!!

Magic.... ,

Motivating and very relatable

I’ve been listening to a bunch of comic podcast, a lot of how to’s or expert tipsy but Writing Comics is unique in a way where I can relate to a starting writer and watch the journey of a man trying to make it in comics whilst having unconditional passion for the craft. This is not the typical how to, it’s more of what the writer does and just open the doors for exploration and sometimes a conversation.
