As an artist and writer, I naturally think outside the box. But when it comes to creating and sharing, sometimes it can feel overwhelming with too many ideas and too many “experts.” I love Sandy and Mary K.’s joyful freedom in Christ that they offer in such an open-handed way each episode. Their commitment to their faith in Christ and the clear purpose God has given to each of them is inspiring, permission-giving, and turns me back to the LORD in prayer and partnership. I have listened to all of WOS’s episodes and my mindset has benefitted so much. I recently enrolled in WOS the course lite and am peacefully excited to refine what I already do to create and share in an even more personal way in the new year. I’ve been listening to Writing Off Social since the beginning and even took Sandy’s hope*circle class before she left social media. Every episode has been a gift, but episode 55? Wow. I’ve listened to it four times, taken pages of notes, and felt so seen and encouraged. If I could, I would tell you both this in person—with tears in my eyes and so much gratitude in my heart. Thank you for giving me permission to simply follow Jesus as He leads me in the work He’s given me, without the pressure of what the “gurus” say.
