Welcome to Wrongful. This podcast seeks to provide a public defense for individuals who have been wrongfully convicted. Our first case is out of Kenosha, Wisconsin. Zachariah Anderson, or “Zach”, was convicted this March, on two counts of stalking, homicide, and hiding a corpse. He was accused of stalking his ex girlfriend and her new boyfriend, and of murdering said boyfriend. No body was ever found, and Zach maintains his innocence. Zach wanted to testify, but he was urged by his attorneys to utilize his fifth amendment right. He put his trust in the system that was put in place to protect the innocent, thus his story never was heard. We are here to tell his side of the story. We will be utilizing the information from the trial, looking at the evidence presented, scrutinizing testimonies, reviewing unseen evidence, and information we learned about Zach from his own journals and from interviews with his family.
Listen along with us as we review this case and look at the evidence and decide for yourself…could he be innocent?

Shocked & Appalled

Wow.

Nicely produced, easy listen, and leaves you wanting more each week.

I’m shocked and appalled that the vast majority of the public knows only what was conveyed at trial and think that justice was served. But our justice system failed literally everyone here.

I hope that many more eyes are opened by this podcast.

Based on Facts!

I love that this podcast uses facts. A lot of the podcasts out there about this trial are full of lies. It’s a breath of fresh air.

Must Listen!

Everyone needs to listen to this podcast regardless of if you are a true crime fan or not. This is the true story of how a completely innocent man can be found guilty of killing a man he never even met, a man who might not even be dead. Zach is a regular guy who just happened to be going through a messy breakup and custody case when a man his ex was dating went missing. Since then he has been stuck in prison for a crime he didn’t commit, demonized by the press, and railroaded by the criminal justice system. It’s shocking to me that he was ever even charged with this crime let alone convicted, in a televised trial without any evidence. His story should scare everyone because this can happen to anyone. We all need to fight for radical changes to our criminal system and to free Zachariah Anderson!
