Josh Neff spent the first 20 plus years of his life with very different opinions of hunting that that of what he has now. Growing up as main stream American kid with all of the influences that seem to be against hunting, in the epicenters of the environmental anti hunting movement. Josh easily developed the opinion that hunting was antiquated, unnecessary and wrong. As a college student, Josh was challenged to dive into a project that challenged his moral code and core beliefs. What happened next was amazing. He began to understand the misrepresentation of hunting by media and our culture. At age 30, Josh has been hunting lions and bobcats for five year. Josh has completely switched sides and sees the opportunity to represent hunting and Houndsmen in way that only a select few could. His influence reaches those that are out of our grasps houndsmen.

Seth and Chad take some time to reflect on their fun from last season, talking about their highs and lows from a winter of hunting. Chad talks about the famous HXP Hat bear, his lion hounds, and the future of his aerial hunting! Not to mention BEAGLES! Seth takes his turn and doesn’t hold back his characteristic excitement as he talks about some of his favorite races, with his favorite people.

Chris tracked down the original owner of the one and only Slife’s Blue Rambo. David Slife of Iowa acquired a bluetick puppy at 6 weeks old. David raised and trained this puppy that would one day become one of the most well known stud dogs of the bluetick breed. Chris and Dave look at the breeding behind Rambo, how he was started by David, his attributes and accomplishments. David had no big ambitions with Rambo; he just wanted a great coondog.

What has happened since then even surprises David.
