Customer Reviews
Yeeeeessssssss!!
I wasn’t sure what I was expecting when I tried this podcast for the first time, but as a newly self-accepting queer woman of color among zero other queer people of color I knew I needed some sense of community. Hanifah and Red have provided me with more than I could have hoped for and I’m only halfway through the old episodes. They, and their wonderful guests, have given me a sense of belonging and direction in my queerness on top of the wisdom they deliver every episode. I couldn’t recommend them enough. (And the audio does get better, so just bear with them)
I love my aunties
They give the best advice and really share wisdom that we all need (young and old). 🙏🏽💜🌈 I wish the volume was just a touch louder my AirPods oppressively low.
Good Content / Poor Audio Quality
Content is pretty good, though the audio quality can make it very difficult to decipher. Funds raised through patreon don’t seem to be going to audio equipment. Unclear how patreon funds are being directed, despite long ads each episode. All withstanding, they’re the only ones I find speaking from the much-needed auntie perspective for us!
