Their summary of books is great and I enjoy the prospective they provide. On longer books they only summarize a part of the book to fit into their time frame. Suggestion, do a two or more part podcast to cover these tomes.

Each Backstory explores a contemporary issue through the lens of history. The podcast is both intelligent and accessible. The hosts are all established authorities in their areas of expertise. Their witty but always respectful back-and-forth is refreshing in the current climate of negative public discourse.
