When our guest saw that Sonicbond publishing had the legendary Ian Hunter of Motte the Hoople covered in a book about that important British band from the early 70's, he was moved to approach them with a project covering Hunter's work since leaving the band in 1974. After all, some of the artist's greatest songs have come in the almost 40 years since "All The Young Dudes" broke through. Songs like "Once Bitten Twice Shy", "Cleveland Rocks" and "The Golden Age of Rock and Roll'". From 1969 to 1972 Dick Von Hoene graced Cincinnati local tv channel WXIX as The Cool Ghoul on the iconic "Screm In" telecast. Von Honene was a pioneer as a host of horror and science fiction movies, a predecessor for characters like Svenghoulie and Elvira Mistress of the Dark. Dick sadly passed in 2004 of a heart attack, but he casts a long shadow in the Queen City's media history.
