Mixtape Vol. #6: Center HS Youth – Future Town 2045

What might a thriving San Luis Valley look like in 2045? In this special Mixtape collaboration, ten young people from Center, Colorado share stories, reflections, and visions for a future rooted in wellness, culture, connection, and care for the land. Created through a partnership between the Center Vikings Youth Club, Boys & Girls Club of the San Luis Valley, Sweetgrass Therapeutics, YEBO, and Future Town Tour/Warm Cookies of the Revolution, this project combines embodied wellness practices, creative writing, and media making to help youth reflect on the present while imagining the future they hope to build. Inspired by conversations about nature, community, mental health, and belonging, this episode invites listeners to consider the future we're creating together. Arranged & Produced by Adrian H.
