Yoga Wit The Ohmies

Gratitude Griot

This is "Yoga Wit the Ohmies," a curated conversation space where we chat all things mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing to inspire personal growth. I'm your host Jewell. I'm a survivor of trauma, a holistic healer and creative entrepreneur. Each week I'll be interviewing a well-being advocate and we'll be sharing our top tools for evolution and embodying well-being. Yoga is the practice of being present. I hope you'll share some moments with me and my Ohmies in loving healing communication. The Ohmies season runs from Black History Month to Black August. We'll be black at you with biweekly drops. Stay tuned to be well.

    Archival Alchemy

Ohmies Season 2 opens with artist and archivist Joyce LeeAnn. Joyce is the founding owner of Archival Alchemy and the Archivist After Hours.  In the artist's own words, both brands were born out of the space that Joyce needed to reunite all the parts of herself into something magical so that she could transmute and transform energy from grieving to healing. We connected through her work with ASALH, The Association for the Study of African-American Life and History, also known as the founders of Black History Month. Please share this conversation and collaboration to continue to amplify the legacy of our ancestor Dr. Carter G. Woodson.
