    YMS203 - Stressful Non-Stress Test

    Finally! A new episode release! This episode was recorded shortly before our second child was born, and we've been sitting on the record for almost 4 months now while we've been otherwise occupied with life. Moms, if you've gone for a "non-stress" test, you'll know how routine it's supposed to be. Well, this was definitely anything but routine! Listen along with us as we march ever closer to delivery day for our son Ryan. We'll have more regular episode releases now as we have an editor to help cut the workload down for us. Realistically, there's a lot that goes into putting out an episode, and every minute we work on the show is time away from the kids, so having our Sequoidea Productions, LLC, editor Cody is really a life changer for us!     YMS202 - Prep for Ryan's Birth

    In this episode Steph and Travis talk about the final preparation for Ryan's birth. This was recorded right before we go in to the OBGYN for our final prenatal appointment. We'll be finding out afterwards whether we have another week or if we're going in for induction.     YMS201 - Big News!

    We're back! I know we were gone for a long time but we are absolutely back. Who knew raising a tiny human takes so much of your time and energy?! Hitting record on this episode we thought it would be a quick 20 minutes to make an announcement and dust off the cobwebs. Instead it turned into basically a full episode once we started rolling!  We promise we'll do our best to keep to our every other week release schedule going forward, and we really appreciate you coming along with us on this journey.

    First, we apologize that this release is late. We were without internet access since last Thursday and really had planned on getting this released on time. Second, we had originally intended to do some very, very major cutting on this episode and Episode 4, and cram them together into 1 episode. However, after listening again a couple weeks ago and after both had been recorded, we decided that we just couldn't cut out enough without really gutting the content. We talk about 3 very different candidates and our thoughts on thee process in general, and what we're looking for in someone who is going to essentially be a part time partner in Squee's growth. We also talk about our first "date night" without Squee since she was born. Let us know your thoughts, and what you experienced finding a babysitter, your first time away from your baby, or what you're anticipating if you haven't gotten there yet. We're still figuring things out, including how this show is going to feel going forward, so we appreciate you coming with us as we learn not only how to be parents but how to be podcasters too.     YMS001 - Pilot Episode

    Stephanie and Travis talk to each other, and any listeners, about where we hope this show will go and how we feel starting the journey. Our baby, Drew "Squee" Frances, is the reason we're here, and hopefully you'll be able to relate to some of the things we talk about either with your own little one, or if you're expecting and wanting to get the inside information about how it really is when family goes home and you're alone trying to figure it out. We are trying to get a feel for this, and we promise it gets smoother! This is our very first episode and kind of a "getting to know us" episode, and we hope you'll join us as we work through who we are as parents, and delve into what we've been through, what we've learned, and how we're growing along the way.
